October was a fast month with moving in and trying to get settled. However, we’re starting to get there. We had a setback with our MakeSpace damage, which I shared on Instagram stories. We will hopefully have resolution within the next week so we can focus on getting settled before “baby brudder” arrives.
What happened this week:
This week flew! The weeks where I head downtown for doctor appointments tend to fly, and it sure did! I checked in with doctor about baby, and he is doing great! Measuring right on track for his Christmas arrival. It was also a busy week with work. We’re gearing up for many client’s holiday plans while I’m also trying to wind down for the year with baby, and it’s a bit stressful. We also recorded a new podcast episode about How to Grow a Small Business on Social Media. Give it a listen if you have time.
What’s on my mind:
I’m hitting nesting mode HARD. I’m so anxious to get all of the boxes out of our house and somewhat organized. Right now the baby’s room is a hot mess, and I’m hopeful we can at least get things placed before his arrival. Decorating, of course, can come later.
What we’re working on:
We are really focused on client’s holiday strategies, a few new business prospects, and we also have a few internal projects we’re working on, too! It almost feelings like nesting mode in business. I am working on a goals template to share with all of you. I love setting goals this time of year, and I created a new template to help.
What I’m looking forward to:
Halloween! Emmie is going to be Abby from Sesame Street and we’re very excited for the day! This will be the first time that we’ll have LOTS of trick or treaters, and I think it’ll be a great time.
Until next week…
