A few weeks ago, I went to the Chicago Baby Show with my mom & sister-in-law to check out all of the great new products out there. It was so well organized, and we had the best time! There are so many creative entrepreneurs out there making moms’ lives easier. You know I love a good entrepreneur story, so this hit close to home. The products are so creative, too! After not being the biggest fan of pregnancy, this made me super excited for baby’s arrival in a few weeks. Today, I’m sharing the 5 products I loved most at the Chicago Baby Show.
I loved meeting the team at Keekaroo. Their story was incredible. The company started years and years ago making products for special needs children, which is why the material is so comfortable. Their products were intended to be used/sat in for long periods of time. The Keekaroo Peanut Changer is a really sleek looking changer that’s extremely easy to wipe down. It’s definitely on our list post-Chicago Baby Show.
The Minu is Uppababy’s new umbrella stroller, and it’s incredible! I tested it at the Chicago Baby Show and with literally 2 clicks, you can expand or collapse this lightweight stroller. Since we live in a condo in Chicago, something lightweight and easy to carry up and down stairs is a must-have, which is perfect because it’s just under 15 pounds. We have the Uppababy Vista as our main stroller, but I would love to get this one for when I’m running errands solo with the baby or not driving.
The ComfyFit Carrier was by far my favorite carrier at the Chicago Baby Show. Boppy has recently come out with a new material, which is the same fabric as yoga pants [um, hello comfortable!]. It’s also ridiculously easy to put on, which I greatly appreciate as a first-time mom. My sister-in-law tried it at the show and also loved it! Dear Santa, can you bring us two for Christmas? I definitely want one!
OK, the RockerMama is one of the coolest inventions I have ever seen! This contraption can come with you anywhere around your house or outside the house and act as a rocker. It’s a great way to soothe your baby without having a rocker or on-the-go. Plus, it’s super comfortable and lightweight! The company is newer. I had the opportunity to meet a handful of their team members at the show, and they were all so kind and informative! Honestly, nothing makes me happier than smart, kind people working hard to help others, which is exactly what RockerMama is all about. Safe to say the RockerMama is now on our list, too!
While we don’t need it quite yet, the Summer Infant My Bath Seat seems perfect for 4-12+ months. It’s a very easy seat to use in the bath. Plus, it makes bath time super safe for baby! Again, since we’re in a Chicago condo with limited space (and super tight bathrooms), this would be really helpful to have in our space. It should be perfect timing for a sip & see gift, too!
