Since I saw Lauren’s mother daughter photo shoot last year, I knew I wanted one as soon as Emmie could walk. First of all, Lauren’s photos are beautiful. Also, the moments with your baby are fleeting and I like to capture as many as possible.
Initially, I hoped for a beach photo shoot similar to this one, but the beaches are closed in Chicago due to the pandemic. Lauren, being the amazing photographer she is, planned an even better photo shoot where we accomplished everything I wanted and more.
Why a Mother Daugther Photo Shoot
Why not? A mother daughter photo shoot captures the special bond between a mom and a daughter.
They’re your mini and it’s so sweet to see a little girl look up to their mama. I try to do two photo shoots a year (at least!) with Emmie, and I’m always so grateful for them. You will never regret having too many photos with your child.
Lauren is a longtime friend and an insanely talented photographer. She launched her business several years ago, and I quickly volunteered to be a test subject. I’m glad I got in early because she is super popular and books up fast!
Lauren loves to capture family moments and has a soft spot for mother daughter photo shoots. Some of my favorite shoots of hers are this mommy & me session, her Grant Park session, Kiara & Jaxson’s photos, and another mommy & me session. Honestly, it’s hard too narrow it down!
She offers an unbelievable ability to capture the essence of your child while keeping everyone calm, happy, and having fun. It truly is like magic with her behind the camera. Plus, her style is stunning. Lauren captures that light, bright feel that we all know and love, but also shares the vibrancy of the moment. Her editing style is perfection! She shot Emmie’s newborn photos, 6-month photos, and so many others and is my go-to for family photography. If you’re interested in booking with Lauren, you can reach out on her website or Instagram page.
